樟科 (Lauraceae)肉桂 Cinnarnomum cassia Pres 同屬植物之細枝條。
[性味]
味辛、甘,性溫。
[功能]
解熱,健胃,鎮痛,抗菌,抗病毒,溫經通絡。
[主治]
外感風寒,風濕痺痛,水滯水腫,痰飲,神經痛,虛寒性月經不調,經閉,心悸,虛寒下痢,慢性結腸炎,腹痛,疝痛。
[用法用量]
10∼20公克/日;科學中藥:0.52.0公克/日。可依病症與體質酌量增減使用量。

The drug consists of the twigs of Cinnamomum cassio BIume (famiIy Lauraceae).
lt is used (1) as diaphoretic for affecti0n due to wind and coId, (2) to
warm and clear out the channels for treating rheumatic arthritis, and
(3) to promote blood circulation for amenorrhoea and angina pectoris.
